Cheetos the crunchy, colorful red and hot salty spicy snacks that is disturbingly addictive. What do you know about Cheetos? We all know that Cheetos spokescritter (logo) is the Chester Cheetah but that wasn’t the case in the early 1970s which was a mouse, very obvious as mice love cheese.

In the 1970s the janitor at the Frito-Lay factory Richard Montanez made an extreme change into Cheetos, after he used to add chili powder to his own Cheetos, he delivered the idea to the CEO and the factory started manufacturing crunchy flaming hot Cheetos.

Since 1996 their slogan hasn’t changed and staid at it’s dangerously cheesy for the original Cheetos. Cheetos tried to tap into different markets and become more diverse by creating their cheetos fries, hot cheetos, etc.

If you guys remember this time last year a makeup trend or joke was going around as using cheetos as a bronzer. Cheetos later made their own bronzer and tried to profit of of this trend. (video) https://youtu.be/eVM2mX7oXkE

Cheetos has also a introduced itself to a new market by opening up a restaurant The Flamin’ Hot Spot will open in the heart of Hollywood Hills, Calif. The restaurant was fully booked within minutes.               https://www.cheetosflaminhotspot.com/
It takes 5,000 cows to generate a year’s supply of Cheetos. It takes about 10 million gallons of milk to make the cheddar cheese that is used in Cheetos seasoning according to the director of communications at Frito-Lay North America. In other words 2,200 gallons of milk per cow. Moo!
As you’ve seen through my presentation cheetos has always been on top of expanding their customer market. They always try to profit however they can and change as the market needs change.
